NMAT is an exam conducted by GMAC to get admissions into Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) and some other top ranked private colleges. NMAT exam is known to be one of the most prestigious exams for management courses in India. The NMAT exam is held every year from October to December and this year it is conducted from 5th November, 2024 to 20th, December 2024 . NMAT exam notification will be out in August 2024 and registration will Start from 1st, August 2024 to 10th, October 2024. NMAT exam will start from 5th November, 2024 to 20th, December 2024 .. What is the Syllabus for NMAT 2024
NMAT Syllabus 2024 contains three sections – Language Skill, Quantitative skills and Logical Reasoning. Each section has marks allotted and a total of 108 questions are asked for which 120 minutes are allotted. There is no minus marking for wrong answer and one marks for each correct answer. Each section has a particular number of question allotted with a definite time. The candidate is not allowed to change section in middle and they have to attend each section one by one though they can choose the section sequence in advance.

How is the NMAT exam different from the other exams?
NMAT difficulty level is more moderate than other entrance tests, but it isn’t easy to crack. Entrance exams like the CAT are non-adaptive tests. But NMAT is a computer-based adaptive test, which means you are asked questions in the 2nd/3rd attempt based on the performance in the first attempt.

Does CAT and NMAT have the same syllabus?
No. They don‘t have the same syllabus. NMAT maintains a moderate difficulty level and CAT maintains a high difficulty level due to its extensive syllabus.
Both exam's syllabus constitutes three sections,
CAT exam: Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension (VARC), Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DILR) and Quantitative Ability (QA).
NMAT exam: Quantitative Skills, Logical Reasoning, and Language Skills.
Can I clear NMAT in one month?
No. You can’t clear NMAT in one month unless you are a genius. However, preparation in other entrance exams can be advantageous. But, if you don't succeed on your first try, you still have two more attempts within the 70 to 90-day testing window.
