NMAT exam is conducted by Graduate Management Admission Council or GMAC for admissions to Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Xavier University, GITAM University, IBS Hyderabad and many more. The exam is conducted around the month of October-December. This year the exams are scheduled from October 2023 to  December 2023. So if you are preparing to crack NMAT then you should definitely know the NMAT Exam Pattern 2023.

NMAT by GMAC will be conducted with a window from October 2023 to December 2023 and notification to this effect have been released. 

NMAT by GMAC is conducted on behalf of  Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies but now NMAT scores are also accepted by 23 other prestigious MBA institutes. NMAT 2023 Results will be out in 3rd week of January 2023(Tentatively).

The NMAT paper pattern is a little different from other management exams as it has 108 questions to be solved within 120 minutes. NMAT Test Pattern 2023 has been changed.

 

NMAT Exam Pattern 2023

The NMAT 2023  Exam Pattern will consist of 3 sections namely Language Skill, Logical Reasoning Skills and Quantitative skills. The NMAT paper pattern will have 108 questions and the exam will be computer based. Similar to CAT, Exam pattern of NMAT also gives specific time limit for each section. Here is the time frame for each section.

The marking scheme of NMAT 2023 allows no minus marking with one marks for each correct answer and zero marks if the question is left untouched or answered wrong. The duration of the NMAT 2023 exam pattern is mentioned above and once you start a particular section you cannot move to and fro however you can choose the sequence of section before the exam starts.

Pattern of NMAT is expected to be same as in yesteryears whereas the hall mark of NMAT is that there is no negative marking and this way a fair opportunity has been given to all candidates.

Computer based 108 questions of NMAT will have to be completed in 120 minutes and candidates will be tested out for their Analytical skills, Language skills and Logical and Reasoning skills. 

It has been observed that Language skills section is getting tougher year after year and in this section Reading Comprehension which might consist many question can play havoc with NMAT scores thus candidates must take a note of  RC. 

With RC candidates can be cross checked for their language proficiency and usage beside the vocabulary which in RC plays the pivotal role. 

NMAT aspirants are advised to practice for RC on daily basis with the help of Editorials of National Newspapers and reading some classic novels as in the due course of time your enriched vocabulary will help you to gain speed and you will be able to comprehend Para in RC, so to give correct answers.
