With the motto to excel in proving Post Graduate Management education, TAPMI Manipal has joined hands with Mu Sigma, world’s largest data analytics firm providing data science solutions to Fortune 500 companies and launched a new Post Graduate Certificate Program - Leadership through Analytics and Decision Sciences (L.E.A.D.). The program aims to nurture talent and cultivate decision science leaders.

The 11-month certificate program will be taught jointly by TAPMI Manipal faculty and Mu Sigma team of experts. The classes will be held in three phases:

Mu Sigma has introduced a new approach – the “new Art of Problem-Solving” (AoPSTM). The concept of AoPSTM has originated on three beliefs:

The TAPMI Mu Sigma L.E.A.D. program promises a lucrative career path and an ample amount of opportunities to grow. The highlights of career prospects on completing the L.E.A.D. program is:

  1. After completing the TAPMI Mu Sigma L.E.A.D. program and on fulfilling a pre-defined criterion, students will be given a job offer as a Trainee Apprentice Leader with Mu Sigma.
  2. Apprentice Leader (AL) is a unified designation across Mu Sigma that all employees hold.
  3. The roles of an AL in Mu Sigma are:
    1. Full ownership of a business or account with a Fortune 500 company
    2. Customer relationship management
    3. Involved in problem-solving for customers – identify, scope, and define problems and provide innovative and effective solutions
    4. Team Management
    5. Organization Growth
    6. Innovation at the Mu Sigma LABS
    7. Design and implement initiatives and strategies at Mu Sigma internally.
  4. As trainee ALs and ALs, you get a chance to work with senior leadership of organizations.
  5. ALs based on their interests and potential can offshoot and grow to positions like:
    1. Chief Operations Officer (COO) – Those who exhibit high operational and organizational strategy strength
    2. Chief Sales Officer (CSO) – Those with a strong sales-mindset and the zeal to shape, sell and serve solutions to customers.
    3. Chief Technology Officer (CTO) - Envisage and assimilate technology to provide sustainable technological innovation and solution to the customer.
  6. The minimum CTC for a Trainee AL will be around INR 8 Lakhs per annum plus performance-based pay.
