MICA STUDENTS GET LESSONS ON ‘NAVIGATING THROUGH UNCERTAIN TIMES’ FROM MR. ANIL BHASIN

"Simply having a positive attitude doesn’t guarantee success. A positive attitude with the right action increases the probability of success", said Mr Anil Bhasin, President, Havells India Ltd. to the second-year students of MICA, Ahmedabad.

Mr Bhasin addressed the students of India's premier management school in Strategic Marketing and Communication -MICA, as part of the second virtual session of the MICA Leadership Series titled 'Navigating through uncertainties in challenging times'.

Sharing his mantra which is to celebrate each day as if you’re reborn, he emphasized on the need of having good behavior in a workplace. He said, "Most of the time, people are hired for their skills but fired for their behavior. We need the right kind of belief in an organization. The difference between a good company and a great company is the culture of the organization."

"Only three things can naturally happen in an organization - friction, confusion and under performance. And leaders will have to engage people on a regular basis so that they make a difference.

Redefining the 4 P's of marketing with the changing times, he said, "The new and improved 4 P's of marketing are people, pride, passion and purpose." On a concluding note, he said, "As marketer's, we must adapt to change and if we refuse to learn, we will be outdated. We should unlearn, re-learn and learn on a daily basis.
