Eligibility Criteria

  • All applicants are required to appear for GMAT /CAT /XAT /MAT.
  • Only freshers and candidates with less than 5 years of work experience as on 30th June 2020 are ONLY eligible to apply.
  • Applicants may submit multiple examination scores; SOBD will consider the best score provided by an applicant while shortlisting applications
  • Candidates should have a full-time undergraduate degree completion certificate before 15th June 2020
  • Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized institution

Application Cycles

SOIL follows a multiple cycle model to accept maximum applications for the program and to arrive at a better shortlisting of students for a quality program batch. The cycle dates given below are subjected to change based on the admission committee’s decision.

CYCLE 1: EARLY ADMISSION ROUND

Offers the highest acceptance rate relative to the smaller pool of students applying.

Date: 05 December 2020

CYCLE 2: FOR CAT TAKERS

Students who have received their official CAT Scores.

Date: 02 February 2020

CYCLE 3: XAT & NMAT TAKERS

Students who have a valid XAT, NMAT Scores.

Date: 31 March 2020

CYCLE 4: FINAL ROUND

For students who have missed the earlier 3 cycles. Acceptance rate is generally low.

Date: 15 August 2020

1. SUBMIT ONLINE APPLICATION

Our application process requires you to fill in an online application form by your chosen application deadline. You will be required to provide the admissions committee with the following

  • Details of academic background
  • Extra curriculars & Hobbies
  • MBA Exam Scores (Mandatory)
  • Upload Document Proofs
  • Pay Application Fee INR 2000

2. PROFILE SHORTLISTING

SOIL shortlist students based on the following criteria. We shortlist students considering their overall profile going beyond the academic scores. The following key aspects are looked at during a shortlisting exercise.

3. DESIGN THINKING WORKSHOP

A hands-on, activity-based session built around the Design Thinking process. The students will be taught about the process of design thinking and the ways to practice and implement the learning. The students will then carry out the 5 key processes of design thinking namely Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype and Test their solutions to a problem. The personal interview round will follow the design thinking workshop

4. PERSONAL INTERVIEW

Interviews with short-listed candidates will be conducted by a faculty member and a senior member of the industry. Interviews last about 45 minutes and you will be asked questions about your background and your aspirations, and how the MBA program fits with your plans.

5. ADMISSION RESULT

Final decisions will be emailed to all candidates within four weeks of taking the interview. After your interview there are three possible outcomes:

  • You are made an offer to join the program.
  • You are asked to appear for personal interview for the second time.
  • You are not successful at securing a place this year.

6. REGISTRATION & SCHOLARSHIP

Once a student registers for the program by paying the initial fees of INR 1,00,000, the student is eligible to apply for PGDM Scholarships. The program office will get in touch with you to offer you the option to apply for scholarships. The available scholarships to students are
