Starting 2024, the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT 2024) will be conducted by the National Testing Agency. The NTA CMAT 2024 is a national level exam, which will be conducted across 84 cities in India in 2024. It is a computer-based exam and the language of the CMAT 2024 exam is English.
Until 2018, the exam was conducted by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) as per the directions of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India.

Q. Will there be a change in the CMAT 2024 participating institutes list since the exam is now conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency)?
No. There are still around 1000 AICTE-Approved Institutions/University Departments/Constituent Colleges/Affiliated Colleges that will accept the CMAT 2024 score.
Q. Will there be a practice test released by the NTA?
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has established a network of practice test centers for students from the rural areas. This is to give a fair chance to everyone to practice before the actual exam. NTA has identified Schools and engineering colleges that have dedicated computer centers. Students can access them on a Saturday or Sunday starting from 3rd week of August. Such facilities are free of charge.
Q. Should there be a change in preparation strategy for CMAT 2024 exam since the testing agency is now NTA?
Since there is no change in the CMAT 2024 test pattern, the preparation strategy should not be affected by the change in test conducting authority from AICTE to NTA. Your prime focus should be CMAT 2024 exam only.
