Exam Pattern Of CMAT 2019

CMAT 2019 is conducted by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The CMAT exam 2019 will be conducted ONLY once a year in the 3rd week of January 2019. It is an online test. A mock exam will be available on from October 2018 so that students can familiarize themselves with the functionality, navigation of the actual Computer Based test and the 2019 CMAT exam pattern.

As per AICTE official statement, "The objective of the test is not to eliminate the candidates from the process of seeking admission in the AICTE approved management programmes,  rather to facilitate the institutions to select the suitable candidates as per their merit." Thus no candidates in CMAT 2019 will be disqualified even if their CMAT 2019 result score is not very high.

3.    There is no negative marking for leaving a question unanswered.

4.   At the CMAT exam centre, each candidate will be given a desk with a computer terminal along with a scratch paper for rough calculations.

5.   Candidates cannot do the rough work on any other paper or sheet apart from the scratch paper. Except the CMAT 2019 admit card nothing is allowed inside the CMAT exam room.

6.   Candidates must leave the scratch paper at the desk once they are done with the CMAT exam and leave the centre.

7.    Candidates are not allowed to take any breaks during the test.
