IBSAT Eligibility Criteria 2025: Important Points
- Age Limit
- There is no age restriction for writing IBSAT 2025 exam.
- Educational Qualification
- The minimum years of education should be 15 years (10+2+3 years or 10+2+4 years)
- Candidates must have 3-4 year Bachelor’s degree in any discipline can apply from any recognized university in India.
- The minimum qualifying marks should be 50% or more.
- Students in Final year of their graduation can also apply, provided they complete their graduation requirements like practical examinations, viva and assignments before May 31. 2026.
- The candidate’s medium of education in graduation must be English, else should submit IELTS/NELT/TOEFL exam on or before May 2026.
- Nationality
- Only citizens of India are eligible to write the IBSAT exam 2026.
- The exam be only be conducted in India, across 80 cities and 94 exam centres.
- Work Experience
- There is no prior work experience mandatory to apply for MBA/PGPM program.
- Attempts
- A candidate is eligible to write the IBSAT exam 2025 as much number of times. There is no restriction on the number of attempts.
- Scorecards
- Candidates who have valid CAT / GMAT / NMAT / XAT from 2023 onwards scores can also apply directly for MBA/PGPM programs
IBSAT Eligibility Criteria 2025: Reservation Policy
- There is no relaxation under age, educational qualification or course fee for candidates applying to ICFAI Business Schools.
- There is no reservation of seats for the reserved categories – SC, ST, OBC or PH.
- There is no management or NRI quota.
- In order to get admission to any of the IBS colleges the candidates must fulfil all mandatory eligibility requirements.

What is the bare minimum eligibility requirement for IBSAT 2025 exam?
A candidate must have a minimum of 50% marks in graduation. In addition, the medium of instruction must be only English.
Does IBSAT 2025 exam have any exemptions/exceptions?
To get admission into any nine IBS campuses, candidates can skip the IBSAT exam 2025 and directly get a call for Micro Presentation and PI rounds if they have an GMATTM/ NMAT by GMACTM /CAT/XAT scores (from 2023 onwards) with them.
