IBSAT Exam Pattern 2025 IBSAT Syllabus

IBSAT  2025 exam is an online exam conducted all over India for admission into the nine ICFAI Business Schools. Let us take you through all the necessary information you need to know about the exam pattern of IBSAT 2025 exam.

1. The IBSAT Exam 2025 is an online, computer-based test.
2. The duration of the exam is 2 hours or 120 minutes.
3. The IBSAT 2025 exam will be conducted in a 2-day test window with individual time slots.
4. All questions will be multiple-choice type. Each question will have five alternatives.
5. The IBSAT paper pattern has four sections – Verbal Ability, Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Aptitude, and Data Adequacy & Data Interpretation.
6. There are 140 questions in total divided among the 4 sections.
7. There is +1 for every correct answer.
8. There is NO negative marking.
9. There are no marks deducted for leaving a question unanswered.
10. The difficulty level of the IBSAT 2025 paper is of Higher Secondary level.
11. The medium of exam will only be English.

1. The IBSAT exam pattern 2025 is divided into 4 sections. There is no specific time limit for solving each section. You can go back and forth while answering questions during the exam duration. The details of the sections are:

Section 1: Verbal Ability

1. This section has 50 questions in all.
2. The candidates are tested on their English proficiency and vocabulary, grammar and reasoning skills.
3. The difficulty level of this section is easy.

Section 2: Reading Comprehension

1. This section has 30 questions in all.

2. The candidates will have to solve 4 unseen paragraphs.

3. Each passage will have 5 to 9 questions, which will be either direct or inferential.

4. The difficulty level of this section is moderate.

Section 3: Quantitative Aptitude

1. This section has 30 questions in all.
2. The candidates are evaluated on their mathematical and logical abilities.
3. Candidates must be quick and accurate in solving the numerical problems.
4. The difficulty level of this section is moderate to difficult.

Section 4: Data Adequacy & Data Interpretation

1. This section has 30 questions in all.

2. The candidates are tested on their logical and critical reasoning.
3. The candidates are also evaluated on their data interpretation skills.
4. The difficulty level of this section is easy to moderate.
