IBSAT Registration 2018: How to Check Result

  1. Go to the official website and go to Admissions > IBSAT2018 Results

  3. Login using your credentials on the result page: Application No. & Password

  4. Click on login and view the IBSAT result card on the screen.

Note: Please make sure you keep 2 to 3 copies of your IBSAT scorecard 2018.

IBSAT Result 2018: Result Calculation

The IBSAT 2018 exam result is calculated based on:

  1. No. of Sections – There are four sections –
    • Data Interpretation and Data Adequacy
    • Reading Comprehension
    • Vocabulary
    • Quantitative Techniques

 

  1. Marking Scheme – The marking scheme for the IBSAT 2018 exam is –
  • Correct Answer: +1
  • Incorrect Answer: 0, i.e. there is no negative marking

 

  1. Result Computation – The IBSAT 2018 score is calculated -
    • IBSAT 2018 Score = Number of Correct Answers * 1

 

IBSAT Result 2018: Result Trends

After the IBSAT results 2018 were announced on 27th December 2018, the selection briefings will start by 13th January 2019. The candidates are shortlisted for further rounds (group discussion & personal interview) after clearing the IBSAT cutoff. Other than the IBSAT 2018 score the other scores that are considered are CAT 2018, GMAT® or NMAT by GMACTM  2018.

The IBSAT 2018 cutoff marks are declared institute wise. Based on previous year results, the expected cutoff for IBSAT 2018 exam is expected to be as follows:

IBSAT Result 2018: Results Accepted

IBS colleges accept the following scores:

  1. The IBSAT 2018 result is already out, and the individual cutoffs for the various ICFAI institutes will also be released shortly.
  2. The NMAT 2018 result for most windows is out however the scaled scores and window five results are still awaited.
  3. The CAT 2018 score is also anticipated in a few weeks.
  4. Those applying using GMAT scores should have already appeared for the exam and would have their scores with them
  5. Candidates can update their CAT 2018, GMAT or NMAT 2018 scores latest by 31st January 2019.

IBSAT Result 2018: Selection Briefings

After all the results – CAT 2018, NMAT 2018, GMAT, and IBSAT 2018 results and scorecards are out next step is the SELECTION BRIEFINGS.

  1. The selection briefings will begin from 13th January 2019 and end on 20th January 2019
  2. The selection briefings are a series of seminars that provide detailed information and insight regarding the programs offered and processes followed at ICFAI Business Schools
  3. These sessions are conducted across 40 locations in India
  4. The shortlisted candidates are informed prior about the location and date of these sessions.

IBSAT Result 2018: Group Discussions

After the selection briefings are conducted the candidates shortlisted based on their CAT 2018, NMAT 2018, GMAT, and IBSAT 2018 cutoff marks are called for the GROUP DISCUSSION round.

  1. The GD sessions will take place between 20th February 2019 and end on 26th February 2019
  2. The sessions will be conducted at IBS Hyderabad only
  3. Candidates will be divided into groups of 7 to 10 and given a topic to discuss on
  4. The time duration is between 15 to 25 minutes.

IBSAT Result 2018: Personal Interview

The last stage after the GD round is PERSONAL INTERVIEW round.

  1. Those who clear the GD round are called for PI
  2. The candidate is interviewed by a panel of 3 to 5 people
  3. The time duration can be anywhere between 15 to 30 minutes.

IBSAT Result 2018: Final Merit List

After the successful completion of the IBSAT 2018 selection process for seven days, the IBSAT 2018 Final Merit List is declared by March 2019. The candidates shortlisted are intimated for counseling and other admission formalities.

IBSAT Result 2018: Weightage

The IBSAT exam 2018 final merit list is based on the candidate’s performance in each of the selection process rounds and previous academic results. The detailed breakup of the weightage of each round is given below. This breakup is applicable for all the nine IBS colleges.

The selection process and weightage of each round may vary for the non-ICFAI colleges. Candidates must check the individual college’s website before applying for the courses there.
