The NMIMS Management Aptitude Test (NMAT) for admission to the leading management programmes in India is delivered by the Graduate Management Global Connection (India) Private Limited (GMGC), a subsidiary of GMAC. Thousands of aspirants eagerly wait for the notification of NMAT to be released as it is the ticket to get admission in some of the best business and management institutes in the country like NMIMS, Mumbai, IBS Business School, Hyderabad, VIT University, Vellore, Xavier University, Bhubaneswar, GITAM School of International Business, Visakhapatnam, to name a few.
The candidates must first check the NMAT eligibility criteria 2024 before applying for various programmes. If applicants do not fulfill the eligibility criteria of the colleges/programmes they are applying for, their participation in the admission process will be jeopardized and the entrance fees will not be refunded. The registration process for NMAT 2024 will be started from 1st, August 2024 to 10th, October 2024. The details institute-wise NMAT eligibility criteria are given below.
What is the Eligibility Criteria for NMAT 2024
1. The candidates must complete the test registration process and pay the test fee within the time specified and follow the published NMAT by GMAC™ exam terms and conditions to sit for the NMAT by GMAC™ 2024 exam.
2. The candidate must check the eligibility requirements of all the universities and schools for which they are interested in applying before registering for NMAT by GMAC™ 2024 exam.
3. In case a candidate is found ineligible for admission to the desired program, no test fee refund will be made.

Candidates working in Pharmaceutical Companies or with work experience in the healthcare sector can also apply subject to meeting the above qualification criteria.

As per the NMIMS Admissions Handout for Management Programs 2024 please note the following:
- As per University Grants Commission (UGC) notification - F. No. UGC/DEB/2013 dated 14.10.2020 – "Degrees / Diplomas / Certificates awarded for programmes conducted by the Open & Distance Learning (ODL) institutions, recognized by Distance Education Council (DEC) (erstwhile) and UGC, in conformity with UGC Notification on specification of Degrees should be treated as equivalent to the corresponding awards of the Degree / Diploma / Certificate of the traditional Universities / institutions in the country".
- AIU certificate is mandatory for those candidates who have completed their graduation from overseas Universities.
- Reservation of seats for the widows / wards of armed forces personnel killed / disabled in action or during peace time and wards of Kashmiri migrants will be applicable provided such candidates successfully meet the specified cut-offs and eligibility criteria of the respective program /s applied for at the time of registration and also qualify the NMAT by GMAC Test cut off. If the candidate has been selected in any of the programs of NMIMS, then they would not be considered for this reservation.
